Makicho - Our Local Area
Guesthouse En is located in a small village in the countryside of Japan. Our village 'Maki-cho' is not so famous like the big tourist places but we do have stunning landscapes, and a calm, warm and welcoming atmosphere. You can really experience the slower pace and hospitality of Japan.
When guests stay with us they can enjoy cycling around Lake Biwa (which is the biggest lake in Japan) and many use our free-to-use bicycles.
